Night Shift Driver
This game was made for the Toxic Terror Jam 2025.
Note:
The downloadable version has much better graphics and is highly recommended to play.
Note2:
You can only accelerate with 'w'-key. Switch modes with left shift and left control.
D=Drive, N = neutral, R= Backwards. So in N you can't drive. In R you drive backwards by holding 'w'.
Story:
Drive, deliver, and survive. You’re a night-shift rideshare driver in Noctra City, working while the Blinkman Killer roams free after a prison break. Keep your engine running, your eyes open, and your nerves steady — some passengers aren’t what they seem.
Controls:
Shift - Shift up one gear
Ctrl - Shift down one gear
W - Gas
A/D - Steer
Space - Handbrake
L - Lights
F - Honk
R - Reset Position to Checkpoint

A pretty cool game with some great athmosphere and some fun driving.
Having to drive through the narrow paths of the scrapyard is an interesting challenge, through the killer didn't seem to give all that much of a chase (to be fair, catching up to a car on foot is kind of hard)
The game is big, really big, which is a bit strange as the story itself doesnt really make you do all that much but i guess that means there room for more content if you wanted to make it.
Edit: i also ended up driving for quite a while without encountering any spooks, but that was more on me as i only had half the radar visible and didnt see that there was a yellow mission objective at the bottom.
Thanks for playing our game. Yes, there is not much to do in the city, just a few spots where the coin missions can be activated.
Hopefully nobody reads this before playing: the killer is actual never a threat, he doesnt chase you at all. I had no time to make that happen. In general time was the problem in the end. There were more mission planned but that was cut too.

Not entirely sure how to get to the yellow map marker, resetting the car put me in debt and broke the accelerator.
I think its not broken, use shift and control to gear up and down. you can only drive while in drive mode (D on the display) and only drive backwards while in back mode (you have to press 'w' for driving back though. If you are in neutral mode (N), you cant drive.
Yes, I'm aware of how to drive, the problem is resetting make the accelerator not work regardless of gearshift
Hmm, i retested but can't recreate that situation. So im sorry, i dont know what could have happened..
